OneLogin is a SAML 2.0 SSO IdP provider. To enable OneLogin SSO with Freshworks, you have to complete configuration inside both Freshworks and OneLogin.


Configuration inside Freshworks


Obtain the Issuer URL, SAML 2.0 endpoint from OneLogin. This can be found inside OneLogin admin section.


  • Goto OneLogin admin section
  • Apps > Add apps > Search for SAML > choose SAML Test Connector (IdP w/ attr w/ sign response)
  • Get both Issuer URL and SAML 2.0 endpoint from the SSO tab


 Below table lists the data that needs to be filled for each corresponding field inside Freshworks

Now that you have the necessary information,


  • Log into your Freshworks account as an Administrator
  • Go to Admin > Security

  • Toggle SSO ON and choose SAML SSO

  • Enter the following details (obtained from your SAML Identity provider)
    • SAML Entity ID
    • SAML SSO URL
    • Logout URL
    • Security Certificate
  • Ensure your SAML responses are signed by default
  • Click on Save


Configuration inside OneLogin


  • Go to OneLogin admin section
  • Apps > Add apps > Search for SAML > choose SAML Test Connector (IdP w/ attr w/ sign response)


You will need the Entity URL and ACS URL to complete the SSO setup inside OneLogin. This information can be obtained when you select SAML as the login method under the single sign on section, in the Freshworks security page. Below table lists the data that needs to be filled for each corresponding field inside OneLogin:
