A lot of efforts go into coming up with a company’s brand design. It’s only natural that the support provided by the company reflects the same brand. The bot builder allows you to change the bot widget’s settings to be in sync with your company’s branding. 

A quick guide to customizing your bot widget:

  • Login to your chatbot builder as an Admin/Owner

  • Select the bot you want to edit from the bot list page

  • Click on the ‘Widget customization’ icon from the right navigation bar

  • Appearance: You can customize the look and feel of your widget here.

    • Theme color: Choose a color for the widget by from the grid or enter the Hex value of the required color and preview the change

    • Give your bot a name and a brand message under 'Title and Sub-title'

    • Choose a background pattern and set up an avatar icon for your bot

  • Position and Behaviour: You can customize the placement of the widget on your webpage/support portal.

    • Widget position: The bot widget can be placed on the bottom of the page either towards the right or the left

    • Set widget notifications: You can toggle ON or OFF notification sound and browser notification based on your requirement. Customers looking for support may not be on the same page/tab all the time. This option allows for browser notifications to inform your customers whenever there’s a response/update.

  • Apply custom CSS - This opens up a code editor where the required CSS can be applied. This includes and is not limited to changing the font type, font size, editing the header and footer elements, etc.

 Click Save once you’re done.
